In my entry where I listed my top 12 emcees of all time, I unexplainably left out Guru. This makes me feel like a complete fucking retard, especially considering he reps Boston. Here is my updated top 13 list.

3. KRS-One
4. GZA
5. Kool G Rap
6. Chuck D
7. Big Daddy Kane

Hilarious!
Kno from the hip hop group Cunninlynguists has released a song that pays tribute to the white boys of the NBA. He lays it over the Kanye track Amazing. And if you watch the NBA playoffs, you've heard Amazing more times than you've heard the commentators gargling the Lakers nuts (the refs gargle them as well), which is really saying something. Anyways, here's the parody. I haven't laughed this hard at a hip hop track that a real emcee released since I heard 99 Free Throws by Skillz, which dissed Shaq. Fuck it, I'll put both them motherfuckers up. Be sure to get the new Cunninlynguists album, which is scheduled to drop on June 30.

Cobe Obeah
Here's another underground emcee that I have really been feeling lately. He goes by the name of Cobe Obeah. Here's a few of his songs.

Black Folks
Very powerful song with an equally powerful video. If only the radios played songs that had messages like this.

Top 12 emcees
A few days ago I posted my top 12 producers. Well, here now are my top 12 emcee's of all time. The top 2 for me are very easy, though they can go in either order. Number 3 never changes for me. After that, however, emcee's are constantly shifting around depending on my mood. Here is my top 12 right now:
1. Rakim
2. Nas
3. KRS-One
4. GZA
5. Kool G Rap
6. Chuck D
7. Big Daddy Kane
8. Black Thought
9. Kool Moe Dee
10. Scarface
11. Big L
12. Ice Cube
If you disagree, feel free to suck my 3 inch cock. Just playing. Just post a comment with your list.
For my next blog, I have no fucking clue what I will be doing next. Guess you'll just have to wait and see. Peace out for now.

My top 12 producers of all time
Until recently, I have been sleeping on producers. Why? Maybe because their name is usually not listed on the song unless you look in the tiny print in the credits. Well, that changed a few months ago. Here are my top 12 producers of all time. No Khalid or Lil Jon on this list.
1. DJ Premier
2. J Dilla
3. Pete Rock
4. RZA
5. Large Professor
6. Hi-Tek
7. Marley Marl
8. Dr Dre
9. Q-Tip
10. Bomb Squad
11. 9th Wonder
12. Alchemist
If you haven't heard of any of these guys, I am sure that I will post some music by these guys soon enough.
Well, seeing as it's 1:30 am here in Boston, I guess I should be getting to bed. Don't worry though. I will be back. Here's a J Dilla beat off of his upcoming album, Jay Stay Paid, that I have been bumping time and time again. Be sure to go get this album on June 2. Should be hot. Song features Black Thought doing his thing.

Intro
"I'm a venereal disease like a menstrual bleed"
Hard to believe that this is what hip hop has come to these days. What was once a music genre that had messages and actually made you think, has now become a genre where all you need to do to get air play is put mediocre lyrics about how many people you've killed, how many bitches you've fucked, or corny ass punch lines that make zero sense like the Lil Wayne line you see above from his unexplainably popular song, A Milli. Honestly, can anybody tell me when the fuck a period became a fucking vd? I must have missed that memo. Just take this and put it over a beat that people can dance to, and you got yourself a hit single. Being able to emcee used to be a very hard skill to do. Now, any clown seems like he can get on. While the good ones are all stuck in the underground.
Nas' dope rhymes, flow, creative lyrics and amazing story telling has been taken over recently by Lil Wayne's corny lyrics, annoying voice, and horrible flow. Rakim's innovated and influence in rap is being shot down by these bubble gum rappers like Yung Joc. All the things KRS helped rap become have taken a back seat to these bullshit songs by Souljah Bitch....er, I mean Boy, that focus more on the dance moves than the actual real lyrics.
And it goes deeper than emcees. Producers have become more and more pathetic. You have no idea how many lists I've seen on the internet that have producers like Timbaland, Neptunes, Lil Jon, and Kanye, ranked ahead of producers like DJ Premier, J Dilla, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, Large Professor, Marley Marl, etc. If you don't know who these guys are, I suggest you do your homework.
I'm not attacking you. I myself used to listen to bullshit rap. My favorite rapper up until 2 years ago was Lil Wayne. However, that all changed when some of my friends introduced me to real hip hop. I have not looked back since. And to return the favor, I am going to try my best to educate others about the beauty of hip hop, and the ugliness of the hip pop bullshit that has been replacing the real hip hop in the mainstream recently.
So, if you have a closed mind and enjoy listening to Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, that's your preference. If you, however, want to learn more about the beauty of hip hop, both underground and old school, then this blog is for you, my friend.
Until my next post, here's a little song that I'm sure a lot of people have heard, but it is my favorite song ever.
